On Sunday, April 30 Crete United Methodist Church celebrated Barbara's 50 years of service as Organist at both the 9:00 am and the 10:30 am services. Special music and proclamations were read and a large crowd of family and friends were present.

Barbara (Sass) has been a church organist since 1956, starting in Monee at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church when she was in High School.
